# Welcome Session for New Members of FER Geneva

On March 10, 2026, Guillaume participated in the **welcome session for new members of FER Geneva** — the Federation of Romande Enterprises Geneva. A morning rich in meetings, practical information, and perspectives for our agency.

## FER Geneva: a 98-year institution serving businesses

Founded in 1928 at the request of the unions, FER Geneva has traversed nearly a century to become today **the largest employers' federation in Geneva and in Romandy**. It brings together more than 29,000 member companies, including 9,000 independents, and represents over 80 sector professional associations.

## Four missions at the heart of employer action

- **Support for the private economy**: defense of framework conditions (taxation, mobility, housing) with cantonal and federal authorities.
- **Reflection on the evolution of society**: positioning on issues such as demographics, federal votes, or the future of the AHV.
- **Services to members**: legal assistance in labor law, salary management, over 80 training sessions (20–30% discount), restaurant Le Cercle du Rhône, collective insurance via Groupe Mutuel, recruitment via Jobup.
- **Networking**: over 65 events per year, including the Business Return at Palexpo (3,000+ participants every August).

## A room of new faces, and already synergies

The session was also an opportunity for each new member to introduce themselves in one minute. One by one, we heard from fiduciaries, strategy consultants, cybersecurity experts, a language school, creatives, HR specialists, and professionals in data and AI — a beautiful reflection of the diversity of the Geneva economy.

For our part, **Guillaume presented Mermio**: our positioning in web development (Laravel, business applications), AI integration, and our role as a technical partner for creative and communication agencies.
